According to spokesman Mark Zuckerberg's colleague, the decision left behind citizens of the United States that is independent of his decision because his company will go public as well as his tax obligations. With the change of status from U.S. citizen Saverin to Singapore, then the value of the tax imposed can be much reduced. Singapore does not have the investment tax, but only the income tax and overseas.
